Lori A. Boyajian-O'Neill, D.O., FAOASM
Dr. Boyajian-O'Neill specializes in sports medicine with particular expertise in medical care at mass participation sporting events. She has over 15 years of experience in primary care sports medicine and in the coordination and logistical challenges of providing medical services at large events. Dr. Boyajian-O’Neill is past-president of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine and has served on national sports medicine committees and task forces. A USA Volleyball Team Physician, she has traveled with the US Women’s National Team to Poland, Japan, China and Mexico. She also served as team physician for the US Women’s Soccer Team in Varna, Bulgaria. Dr. Boyajian-O’Neill has served as medical director for numerous U.S. national championships including: USA Volleyball Adult Open, Junior Olympic National Championships; USA National Club Track and Field Championships; and USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Championships. Additionally, she has served on the medical team at the Ironman®World Championships Kona, Hawaii; The Las Vegas Marathon; IAAF World Cup Trials Race Walking Championships and USA Boxing-sanctioned Ringside World Championships. Dr. Boyajian-O’Neill has had scientific articles published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine and Annals of Emergency Medicine and has been a speaker at national sports medicine conferences. |

David D. Dyck, Jr., D.O., FAOASM
David D. Dyck, Jr., is Chief Medical Officer of Global Event Medicine. He practiced as a certified athletic trainer prior to earning his medical degree. He is board certification in sports medicine and family medicine. He has provided medical care at local sporting events including; Memorial Day Classic Track and Field Championships, MIAA Men’s and Women’s basketball championships and MIAA Softball Championships. He currently serves as a certified physician of the International Federation of Volleyball (FIVB) has traveled internationally with USA Volleyball National Teams to India, Morocco, Canada, Mexico and Italy. He is the team physician for Johnson County Community College (Overland Park, KS), Avila University (Kansas City, MO) and the North Kansas City and Independence School Districts. He has extensive experience providing care at mass participation sporting events including the Ironman® World Championships in Kona, Hawaii; USA Volleyball Adult Open and Junior Olympic Championships and USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Championships. Dr. Dyck has been a speaker at national sports medicine conferences and has published articles on sports related injuries in the Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine and the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association. |

Scott A. O'Neill
Mr. O’Neill is a founder of Global Event Medicine and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer. A graduate of the University of Missouri College of Business (now the Robert J Trulaske, Sr. College of Business), he has extensive experience in healthcare management. He co-founded Respiserv, Inc. which was honored in the 1999 Ingram’s Magazine Corporate 100 Report as one of Kansas City’s fastest-growing companies. In Global Event Medicine he has combined his skills in healthcare management with his love of sports. Mr. O’Neill works with event coordinators to ensure that sports medicine services are tailored to the particular unique event. He assembles the multidisciplinary medical team including sports medicine physicians, certified athletic trainers and others in order to meet the special needs of athletes participating in championship events which can vary from cycling to volleyball to adventure racing. Mr. O’Neill directs the extensive pre-event plan so athletes, officials, volunteers and spectators will experience quality care during the event. Mr. O’Neill has coordinated GEM services for numerous championship sporting events including USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Championships; USA Volleyball National Championships; USA Track and Field Club National Championships; USA Triathlon-sanctioned Midwest Meltdown, Midwest Mudder and Midwest Mayhem.
