David D. Dyck, Jr., D.O., is Chief Medical Officer of Global Event Medicine and an expert in logistics and on-site medical care at mass participation sporting events. He has board certification in sports medicine and family medicine and practiced as a certified athletic trainer prior to medical school. An official physician for the International Federation of Volleyball (FIVB) Dr. Dyck has traveled with USA Volleyball National Teams to India, Morocco, Canada, Mexico and Italy. He has extensive experience providing care at mass participation championship sporting events including:
- Ironman® World Championships in Kona, Hawaii
- USA Volleyball National Championships
- USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Championships
With Global Event Medicine, he brings his expertise in pre-event planning, risk evaluation and medical management to serve athletes, coaches and officials.
Dr. Dyck has been a speaker at national sports medicine conferences and has published articles on sports related injuries in the Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine and the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association.
